No Fortnite and black hole make gamers go something something.
For millions of Fortnite players across the world, the past thirteen or so hours (and counting) have been a waking nightmare, after Battle Royale Island was sucked into a black hole and the entire game became unavailable. All that exists now is a continuous stream of the black hole itself (with some mysterious numbers fans have decoded as a cryptic message) and a minigame activated by entering the Konami Code on the black hole screen.
Players eagerly awaiting the reveal of Fortnite's next phase have little solace beyond the fact that the communal experience of everyone having to either stare at the same near-static image for half a day or actually find something else to do with their time is the kind of event memes are made of.
Some people looked deep into the hole, and learned something about themselves.
Others noticed some prior parallels in pop culture.
My theory is that Fortnite chapter 2 is the spiritual successor to LOST.
An Island, the numbers, a rocket exploding. Can't be a coincidence.

Pornhub, of course, had the money shot ready to go.
The only thing we know is that we still know nothing.
But anticipation is the purest joy, and while it might be hours yet before the game is back up, the Fortnite community is all in it together.
