By now, you've probably noticed Keke Palmer's iconic "sorry to this man" meme that's taking over the internet. But in case you don't spend all your time on Twitter, we'll explain. In a video with Vanity Fair, Palmer takes a lie detector test where she answers a series of questions on random topics and her personal life.

At one point, she's shown a photo of former vice president Dick Cheney and asked if her character, True Jackson, was a better VP. Palmer waits a beat before confessing she has no idea who he is. "I hate to say it, I hope I don't sound ridiculous. I don't know who this man is," Palmer admits. "He could be walking down the street and I wouldn't know a thing. Sorry to this man."

During Palmer's appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the Hustlers actress explained to host Andy Cohen that she didn't know the clip would go viral. "I was just thrown. I did not expect—I was truly sorry to that man! I just feel bad that I didn't know who he was. I didn't know! After finding out who he is, I'm glad I didn't know."

As expected, her priceless reaction has sparked countless memes across the internet. Ahead, the best "Sorry to This Man" moments.
